The finished fact
Two engineering calculations agree.
Ansys and Coal-to-Products agree on Kentucky #9 coal. The calculations are already public. The char figure on that balance is 40.2 percent. The next conversation is fifteen minutes.

An independently validated technology. Ansys and Coal-to-Products agree. A United States battery company signed a memorandum in June.
The finished fact
Ansys and Coal-to-Products agree on Kentucky #9 coal. The calculations are already public. The char figure on that balance is 40.2 percent. The next conversation is fifteen minutes.
The feedstock
One feedstock becomes engineered carbon for batteries and industry, with syncrude, benzene, ammonia, and sulfuric acid beside the char.
The meeting
The page is the record. Gary is the person on the call. If we have not met, tell us who can introduce us before we meet.
Domestic coal can be refined. The design takes Kentucky #9 coal apart into engineered carbon for batteries, steel, and industry. The coal is not burned for power.
Two calculations were closed on the same coal. One is an Ansys model, Project 32-10-1-T3M9T, Revised Operation. The other is the Coal-to-Products plant balance. They agree.
The 40.2 percent char figure comes from that closed balance. It is a model. The furnace work is the next proof. Two advanced energy research labs in the United States carry that pilot furnace work.
Beside the char, the model names syncrude, benzene, ammonia, and sulfuric acid. The early conversation is the engineering.
In June 2026 a United States battery company signed a memorandum. Talks about buying product come after a pilot is certified.
The coal for the first step is Kentucky coal the company holds. The mass balance is the record of what that coal is designed to become.
The refinery in the design is a closed loop. The air is kept out. Partial oxidation supplies the process energy. Fifteen minutes is enough to walk through those sentences.
The person on the call is Gary. He walks the same record that is on the public page: Ansys, Coal-to-Products, Kentucky #9, and the June memorandum.
